Turkey's annual inflation slows to 29.73% in September
Published figures show annual deceleration while prices continue rising monthly.

Qatar News Agency reported that Turkey's annual inflation rate fell to 29.73% in September from 31.51% in August.
Consumer prices nevertheless rose 1.84% month-on-month, while producer prices increased 2.07%. Slower annual inflation means prices are rising more slowly than a year earlier, not that the general price level has fallen. The figures are based on statistical data reported by the agency on October 5.
