Saudi Arabia chairs international meeting on monetary and financial policy coordination

Saudi Arabia chaired the sixth meeting of deputies of the IMF's International Monetary and Financial Committee, held remotely with officials from member countries.
Participants discussed global economic challenges, cooperation and policy coordination, the Global Policy Agenda and the committee's draft communiqué. The meeting forms part of preparations for the IMF and World Bank Group annual meetings scheduled in Bangkok from October 12 to 18.
