Qatar confirms continued mediation efforts between Washington and Tehran
Qatar's Foreign Ministry said mediation between the United States and Iran was continuing and aimed to achieve progress that could be built upon.

Ibrahim Al-Hashimi, director of the Media and Communication Department at Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, confirmed that mediation efforts between Washington and Tehran had not stopped.
He said the efforts sought progress that could be built upon, including on issues of concern to both sides.
