Commerce Ministry: businesses advertising credit-card acceptance must honor it
Consumers can report refusal of an advertised card or additional charges through the Commercial Report app.

The Ministry of Commerce explained that a business advertising acceptance of credit cards is obliged to accept them and may not refuse a card covered by its acceptance announcement.
Consumers can submit a report through the Commercial Report app if the card is refused or additional charges are imposed because of the payment method. The clarification applies to establishments that have announced acceptance of these cards.
