The Ministry of Commerce announced the recall of 2,987 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L vehicles from model years 2023 and 2024 to address a software fault affecting the occupant-protection system.
According to campaign details reported by Sabq, the fault may delay side-airbag deployment in an accident, requiring a software update at the dealer.
The ministry urged owners of affected vehicles to contact Petromin Stellantis on 8003030040 for the free remedy. Vehicle eligibility can be checked using the chassis number at the defective-product recall center website, Recalls.sa.
