The King Abdulaziz Foundation for Endowment Libraries in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah organized a scientific program on the use of artificial intelligence tools in studying manuscripts and editing their texts.
The program covered processing manuscripts, reading them, cataloging them, and discovering relationships between them, in addition to comparing copies and editing texts. The applications included the study of 16 panels and interviews with five copies of two manuscripts, aiming to support research in the Arab and Islamic heritage with modern tools.
