King Abdulaziz Foundation launched its Collected Works of Pioneering Historians programme in Riyadh on October 14, releasing its first publication, Uthman bin Bishr's Unwan Al-Majd fi Tarikh Najd, according to a report published October 15.
The first phase covers works by Ibn Bishr, Muqbil Al-Dhukair, Khalid Al-Faraj, Mohammed bin Laaboun and Mohammed Al-Fakhri. CEO Turki Al-Shuwaier said specialist workshops would collect relevant documents, manuscripts and information to support critical editing and publication and make sources available to researchers.
