The Saudi Red Sea Authority issued conditions for the activity of renting pleasure boats, which will take effect 180 days after publication. It requires a license for the operator and another for each boat after technical inspection, and it mandates safety guidelines, emergency plans and appropriate insurance. It also includes prior disclosure of prices, route, cancellation terms and refund policy, and states the suitability of services for people with disabilities and protection of coral reefs.
