Seven contracts launch first phase of sustainable agricultural parks

Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman Al-Fadley launched the first phase of sustainable agricultural parks and patronized seven contracts covering three regions.
The National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification said the initiative develops land near reclaimed-water sources using productive native plants. It estimated cumulative GDP impact of SAR 6 billion over 15 years and over 700 direct jobs. These are future projections, not achieved results.
