Riyadh Municipality uses smart survey vehicles, robots and drone-mounted cameras to monitor roads, bridges and stormwater networks.
The systems collect data and images to identify defects and maintenance needs. According to the municipality, work includes inspecting 248 cables on the suspension bridge and using robots to inspect drainage networks internally.
