The General Authority of Transport announced that the railways of the Kingdom transported more than 40.9 million passengers during the third quarter of 2026, along with 3.9 million tons of cargo and 46.3 thousand containers.
According to the numbers published by the authority, Riyadh Metro recorded 30.4 million passengers, while the number of passengers on the Haramain train exceeded 1.9 million. This figure relates to the quarterly period, and does not represent the numbers for a single day.
