The value of point-of-sale transactions in the Kingdom reached 12.60 billion riyals through 246.42 million transactions during the period from October 11 to 17, 2026, compared to 13.53 billion riyals in the previous week, according to the weekly bulletin of the Saudi Central Bank.
The food and beverage sector led the spending at around 2.22 billion riyals, followed by the restaurants and cafes sector at around 1.65 billion riyals, then fuel stations at around 998.2 million riyals and transportation at around 921.9 million riyals.
In terms of cities, Riyadh recorded 4.41 billion riyals, Jeddah 1.67 billion riyals, then Dammam at around 639.9 million riyals and Makkah al-Mukarramah at around 503.3 million riyals.
