Green Al Baha generated an economic return exceeding SAR 25 million as Al Baha Municipality won first place in the GCC Municipal Work Award for 2025–2026, recognizing planting, sustainability and community participation.
The initiative covered over one million trees, shrubs and flowers in 143 parks, involving 10,150 volunteers through 535 initiatives. Treated water met 75% of irrigation needs, and smart-irrigation technologies cut freshwater use by 40%, according to published figures.
